Photography resources

Rob Galbraith DPI – For current photography news and equipment reviews, one of the best resources on the net.

Canon lens review – I’m a Canon shooter, so I can’t resist listing this site as an excellent reference for EOS lenses.

The Digital Picture – Another good resource for Canon equipment reviews.

Fred Miranda – A great community of photographers. This is the place to learn, admire, and network.

Guide to classic cameras – I owned an Rolleicord once and loved the camera, I plan to get a Rolleiflex someday. This is an information resource for this all sorts of classic cameras.

Camerapedia – A wiki-based encyclopedia.

Stores

G King Photo – A local professional lab I occasionally use.

The Lab – A recommended pro lab in Vancouver

CustomColor – I’ve used this lab a few times, but was never really impressed with their quality. However, I will use them in a bind.

Vancam – If you need your camera repaired, this is a popular place to go. I’ve heard mixed reviews about their service, but I’ve never had to use them (knock on wood).
